Last month, our school district had a coloring and essay contest to promote our internet safety presentations to students and the community.

Early Dismissal & Parent-Teacher Conferences - Thursday, October 2, 2025
Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
Middle and High School students will be dismissed at 12:40 p.m.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Elementary conferences will be held in individual classrooms
Middle and High School conferences will be held in the middle-high school gym

Congratulations to our last 2 week's recipients of Athlete of the Week!
Two weeks ago, Timber Hanson had 13 digs against Philip but also leads by example with her strong work ethic, attitude, and team-first mindset. Timber works hard to try to not let any ball hit the ground or get past her.
Last week's Athlete of the Week is Breckyn Huebner. Breckyn had 48 kills, 5 blocks, and 4 aces in Saturday's Big Dakota Conference Tournament. Breckyn leads by example with her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to push herself and those around her to improve. Her contributions go beyond stats; Breckyn elevates the entire team with her energy, focus, and leadership.

Congratulations to Breckyn Huebner on earning a spot on the Big Dakota Conference All-Tournament Volleyball Team this past weekend! The Lady Buffs went 2-2 over the weekend and took 6th!
At our football game a couple of week's ago, we were blessed by Sophia Lemieux (Sophia's Lemonade Stand) with a donation of $75 to put towards our school lunch program. Jeff Lemieux, Sophia's dad and of Wegner Auto, also gave us a donation of $1,500 towards the school lunch program as well! THANK YOU, Sophia and Wegner Auto! We are grateful for you!

The Lyman Cross Country meet for Saturday has been postponed due to course conditions.
Just a reminder, we will be having a TEAMS Meeting tonight (Wednesday-September 17, 2025 )at 7:00 pm for ANY high school parent (grades 9-12). These meetings will be recorded for those unable to make it. A password and link were sent to your email last week. If you did not receive it, please reach out to Nichole Hahn (nichole.hahn@k12.sd.us), and we will get it sent to you. There will be a variety of topics for all high school grades, so please plan to join.
We extend a huge thank you to the Hines and Miles families for their generous donation of a microwave to our lunch program. This gift has helped streamline the lunch process for our students by adding an extra microwave for quicker access.
