Mrs. England's piano class will have their end-of-semester piano recital on Wednesday, May 10th at Lily Park picnic shelter - 12:45-1:30 pm. In case of inclement weather, it will be held in the band room.
Mrs. Misty Biwer was named the March Elementary Staff Member of the Month. Mrs. Biwer is such a kind and hardworking aide at our school. She is great with the students and is willing to help out whenever she is needed. She has a positive attitude, loves all the kids, and always has a smile on her face! She has stepped up and taken the time to learn the new reading program and lead a group of students. Thank you for all that you do, Mrs. Biwer!

The Middle-High School March Students and Staff of the Month were named. Students are selected based on the ROAMS categories of respect, ownership, achievement, mindfulness, and safety. Mrs. Amber Garrett was chosen as Staff Member of the Month by the students of the month. Recipients are pictured left-right. A Polar Plunge Fundraiser for Special Olympics will take place on April 29 at the American Legion Cabin in Pierre. Stanley County School has plunge volunteers including Mitch Kleinsasser, Sarah Beck, Joey Fischer, Erin Herr, and Max Foth. The person with the most money in their bucket will be taking the plunge. If you would like to donate to the Special Olympics, there is a bucket with each of these volunteers’ names in the Middle-High School Principal’s Office. Donations will be collected by April 28. The Stanley County Student Council sponsored a collection drive for Missouri Shores this past quarter. Staff, students, and community members donated 296 pounds of items to the organization. Ms. Huber’s first-grade class won the elementary competition and was awarded a pizza party by the student council for their efforts.
