Stanley County 1st graders joined other 1st grade students across the state in the “Porter the Hoarder and the Ransacked Room” live event on October 19. Students of Miss Stephanie Huber and Mrs. Ana Tribble enjoyed hearing South Dakota native and author, Sean Covel along with illustrator Rebecca Swift read the story. In addition, Ms. Swift taught the students how to draw Porter. All 1st grade students and teachers received a copy of the book. This event was sponsored through the SD Statewide Family Engagement Center.
