Return to Learn Graphic

After seeking input from families, staff, and community, the Stanley County School District has developed a Roadmap to Return plan. Families have two options from which to choose. The information below affords families the flexibility to choose the instructional model that will best meet their needs during these uncertain times and reflects our District’s commitment to providing a high-quality educational experience, regardless of the setting.

Families may choose between two learing options.

Traditional Learning

This model represents a return to the school campus and the classroom where students will interact directly with their teacher(s) and classmates. The school day will follow the standard schedule that includes all the core classes and other subject areas– with several significant changes involving enhanced health and safety precautions.

Our goal is to create an environment that provides an opportunity for students to return to the traditional school experience, while providing safeguards to protect the health and safety of students and staff.

Distance Learning

This full-time learning experience is designed for families who do not yet feel comfortable sending their student(s) back to school in the traditional format. In this learning model, students will independently work on assignments and maintain contact with a teacher using web-based platforms and tools, email, and phone calls.
