On Wednesday, December 18th, five Stanley County students were acknowledged for their talents in the fine arts by the Capital Journal: Seniors Emily Hanson and Spencer Sargent were given awards for their contributions to one-act performances, Senior Sarah Fosheim was given an award for her contributions to choir and band, and Senior Edward Zachrison was recognized for his contributions to oral interpretation. Edward also performed his piece, “Writing is Easy” by Steve Martin, for the crowd. Junior Brianna Sargent was also recognized for her excellence in acting.
