The SC 3rd graders transplanted dill, cosmos, and marigolds that they grew from seed into the Oahe Downstream Rec Area's pollinator garden this Wednesday. Despite the rainy weather, the kids had a great experience thanks SD GFP employees Charlie Bessken, Jason Cox, Bailey Biegler, and Jackie Driscoll. Students were excited to learn that our own, Daysen Nutter, won the bookmark design contest. His art will be printed and distributed at the Butterfly Festival in July.
