The Stanley County School District is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a 2025 Casey’s Cash for Classrooms grant. The school will receive $25,000 to refurbish the current band and choir rehearsal room, enhancing its acoustic qualities. This renovation will include new electrical work, carpeting, acoustic tiles, and various other upgrades to better serve our band and choir students. The improved band room will offer enhanced acoustics, better organization, and increased comfort, creating an inspiring space for students to rehearse.
“We are grateful to receive a Cash for Classrooms grant from Casey’s and are excited to complete this important update that will improve our students’ ability to learn and excel at Stanley County School each day,” said Tina England, Stanley County 6-12 music teacher. “Casey’s is a great community partner that gives back to many schools across its footprint, including ours, through this program.”
“Through Casey’s Cash for Classrooms program, our grants are providing meaningful impact, helping create better learning environments and improving the lives of children and educators. Casey’s is grateful to be in a position to provide support for our communities and the schools and families who work tirelessly to prepare our next generation of leaders,” said Katie Petru, Director of PR and Communications at Casey’s.
